"Take the First Step" is an initiative that targets construction workers and laborers who are struggling with opioid abuse. The construction industry has the highest mortality rate for opioid-related deaths. Because of this, I worked closely with Consigli Construction’s safety team to craft a poster series as well as crisis response cards, which promote a message of hope and offer easy, anonymous access to resources and assistance. These posters are strategically placed within job sites along the East Coast near high-traffic areas, including trailers, break rooms, restrooms, etc.
